Welcome to Johnno's Camper Trailers - Ipswich, Gateway to the Scenic Rim.

The Scenic Rim is a utopia of lush rainforests and spectacular landforms, home to ancient and rare creatures, within easy reach of Brisbane, the Gold Coast and Northern New South Wales.

Sweeping in an arc around river valleys, the Scenic Rim is enclosed by a series of ranges formed millions of years ago by dramatic volcanic activity. Stretching from the Main Range and Mt Barney National Parks in the west to Lamington National Park in the south, the Scenic Rim region encompasses the vibrant regional centres of Beaudesert, Boonah and Ipswich.

The Scenic Rim is the perfect symmetry of natural splendour, heritage charm and urban pleasures.

Enjoy wine in the vineyard it came from, stop at roadside stalls loaded with fresh produce from fertile volcanic soils or learn to cook with the region's natural spoils.

Warwick Walk through the colourful parks and gardens (best in spring for their colourful roses) and then wander around town to discover some of Queensland's finest historical sandstone buildings, reminders of Australia’s pioneering past. The Post Office (built in 1891) and the Town Hall (1888), both in Palmerin Street, are two fine examples.

Queen Mary Falls Discover this impressive waterfall, which plunges 40m down a glistening black rock. Nestled in the western slopes of the Great Dividing Range just a couple of kilometres from the tiny township of Killarney, the falls are the perfect place for a picnic and a stroll along the 2km circuit track.

Main Range National Park Choose from several bushwalks through the rainforest in this arc of rugged peaks and ridges, a World Heritage area in south-east Queensland's remarkable Scenic Rim. Climb to the sheer cliff face of Mount Mitchell or zigzag up Mount Cordeaux for terrific views.

Mount Warning Located close to the charming township of Murwillumbah, the 1156m-high mountain is the ancient core of the largest extinct shield volcano in the southern hemisphere. For most of the year this mountain peak is the first on the Australian mainland to catch the sun's morning rays. Take the 8.8km (return) rainforest walk to the summit for a fantastic view.

Springbrook National Park Discover spectacular waterfalls, lush rainforest and impressive views in this World Heritage-listed national park. Stretch your legs on the short 1km rainforest walk to see the Natural Arch over Cave Creek or take the longer 4km walk to see the famous Purling Brook Falls.

Tamborine Mountain In Tamborine National Park, stroll through a rainforest of distinctive piccabeen palm groves, wet eucalypt forest dominated by tall flooded gums, open forest with bracken fern understorey and woodland. Spot a range of rainforest animals, from the rare Albert's lyrebird and one of the world's largest skinks, the land mullet, to the Richmond bird wing butterfly and noisy pitta. Enjoy a picnic and choose from a range of easy to challenging bushwalks. Try the Curtis Falls Walk, an easy 30-minute, 1.5km return walk through rainforest before descending steep stairs to a large pool at the base of Curtis Falls. Explore Tamborine Village, a haven for talented artists, and browse its eclectic range of galleries and craft shops.

Canungra Explore this old saw-milling town, taking a walk through the sawmill's old tramway sandstone tunnel, or just browsing the many art and craft shops.
